Captain America 3: your aunt is no longer your aunt, but your uncle will always be your uncle.

Captain America 3: your aunt is no longer your aunt, but your uncle will always be your uncle.

The real core of this film is revenge.

first of all, as CE said, Marvel has a mature formula for making movies successful. Combined with the spoilers and interviews I have seen before, I think that as a commercial film, after all, it has its own restrictions and rules, so it is in line with the original intention of "I just want to see a good action movie." as for the plot, I guess it's just a formula, and there's no need to expect too much.

so I was pleasantly surprised after watching it, because it looked much better than expected. I had expected that the score of rotten tomato would be too high by my standards, but now I think it really deserves a high score. In a word, the civil war in MCU is no longer the civil war we know in cartoons, but the captain is still the captain, the iron man is still the iron man, Bucky is still Bucky, and everyone is still themselves.

everything below is about movies, and it has nothing to do with comics, because the two can't be mixed up.

one, about the overall impression

not to mention the wonderful action drama. At the beginning, it was because "American team 2" had the hard-line action style of "Bourne" series. This one continues to carry it forward, the action design is beautiful, vigorous, straightforward, practical, everyone is very good, and pay attention to teamwork, the integrated skills are dazzling and enjoyable.

with regard to the story, my personal impression is that this is a Marvel film that rarely makes me feel sincere in the past two years. Although there is still a Marvel Film Formula, it does tell a complete story seriously and vividly. This story is more complicated than I thought. It has three branches: Panther, Zemo and Avengers. The story is very clear, organized and logical. Although there are many roles, there are distinct primary and secondary roles. I didn't expect to cover up the simple plot by piling up jokes, and I don't feel that some characters, such as Zimo, have been wasted. Most of the characters in the film serve for the storyline, because there are no one-man movie plans for them in the short term (except Panther and Spider), so the director doesn't waste his or her pen on unnecessary characterization. I appreciate this, because the contradictions within the Avengers are already so full that there is no need to carefully create an evil villain to set off the heroes. Zimo's role is more to drive the plot, at the end of his self-exposition concise and accurate description of the character's tragedy and motive, so that I thought he was another Marvel villain, I immediately understood and forgave his mental handicap.

and, I quite like the lines of this film, in line with the characteristics of the characters, concise, witty, moderately humorous, very good.

II. About the plot

regardless of the film's publicity strategy and the message conveyed by various interviews, I personally don't think this film is really making an in-depth discussion and debate on "which is better, freedom or order?" Although the story mainly revolves around the contradiction of whether the monitoring and control of government agencies should override citizens' individual freedom and choice for the sake of public safety and social order, it is, after all, a US team movie. like team USA 2, it has clearly come to the conclusion that individual freedoms and rights of citizens are more important. The whole story is advanced on this basis, removing the content that may cause obvious controversy, simplifying the plot and making it clear that politicians have too much to think about and do not care much about the truth. in the end, the government will not be really reliable, instead of ceding freedom for the sake of security, it is better to believe in the strength and judgment of human beings (and heroes).

because of this, the captain and the iron man always fight in a harmonious and friendly atmosphere in accordance with the principle of "friendship first, competition second". Although they fight hard, they fight on a case-by-case basis, and there is no resentment against each other. Because of this, the Ironman side is not a hardline registrant who stands entirely with the government, they are just following their own judgment on maintaining social order, and when they find that the government's behavior has deviated from their original intention, quickly adjust their position to respond and change. Therefore, 5/6 of the time I watched this movie, I did not feel the life-and-death antagonism I expected. I only felt that this was a running-in process among the members of the Avengers. Although there was a fierce quarrel, the United front was United at the critical moment.

so when I saw the last 1/6, I suddenly felt that the agreement was just a facade, and that the real core of this film was revenge. Black Panther, Zemo, Captain Winter Bing Iron Man, these three storyline branches are all based on revenge as the core. They each have their own hatred, choose different solutions because of their different personalities, and finally lead to the whole story and get different results; and their hatred is intertwined with each other, and the reasons for revenge are also very understandable.

but as the captain's monologue in the trailer says, we try to save as many people as we can, but that doesn't mean everyone. If you can't face the problem, you may not be able to save a single person next time. There is often no reason to control things in the world. You have to take risks to do good deeds. The greater the good deeds, the greater the risks. Heroes cannot save the world, but they know that they will continue to do good deeds. And dare to face and bear all the unpredictable consequences that follow. After all, if you stop saving the world because you are afraid of risks, the world will probably be worse. You yourself will have a guilty conscience for not doing your best.

some of the tragedies in this film are caused by the world, and some uncontrollable consequences are caused by doing good deeds. In a word: all living beings suffer, love is evil, life is like a misery, no one is wrong, but no one is necessarily right, so the giver, dare to ask where the way is?. Please watch "Captain The Demi-Gods & Semi-Devils of America 3: civil War". After watching it, you are still confused and helpless. But, my friend, this is life.

3. About the role

Ironman: I like the Ironman here very much. In this film, he is full of character, has a great sense of responsibility and rational introspection as a hero, and more importantly, he is not paranoid. When he realizes that there is something wrong with his original idea, he puts down his pride, does not care about personal gains and losses, and quickly changes his action strategy, because he himself is not important. The most important thing is to do the right thing. I think this is very heroic.

Captain: did not betray the world for the sake of winter soldiers as I thought. He is still a captain who advocates justice and freedom and sincerely believes that people have great power, obstinately stubborn and admirably stubborn. Some people say that he is not flexible in black and white, but I think it takes more courage and strength to be able to hold on without compromise in a world full of gray areas. His style always follows the saying: if you can compromise, compromise; if you can't compromise, don't. No matter what the odds are, even if the media, the whole country and the whole world say you are wrong, all you have to do is stand by the river of truth like a tree and tell the world: no, you change.

Winter Bing: struggling in the awakening of survival instinct and conscience, it pains me to see that the main idea is that I don't remember my lines, which seems to be slightly different from the cartoon.)

struggling in the awakening of survival instinct and conscience.

others: I like everyone very much, really.

4. It's just

this guest star is the headmaster of Greendale in the League of useless Wood, who really brings his own comedy effect. Smile with a knowing heart.

the woman who accused Tony of killing her son after his speech was a black ghost actress in "Hearts and Souls." coupled with the fact that the 20-year-old computer special effects Tony looked a lot like RDJ when he was young, they were in a trance and felt like going back in time.

thoughts:

in my opinion, the reason for the disagreement between the Iron Man and the captain in the movie is actually a correlation problem in statistical analysis. This problem is mentioned in the illusion in the film: since Tony announced that he is an iron man, more and more superheroes have emerged, which brings challenges, and challenges cause contradictions, which in turn trigger disasters. So there is a certain correlation coefficient between the two sets of data, "the emergence of superheroes" and "the occurrence of disasters", and third-party regulation is an optimization scheme that can intervene and reduce this correlation coefficient. This is a formula, the result of pure rational calculation of illusion.

Tony is a scientist whose mode of thinking is very close to hallucination and chooses the optimal solution on the basis of rational analysis, so he believes that the Avengers lack a scientific decision-making mechanism with the participation of a third party. only by establishing this mechanism can we impose more reasonable regulatory constraints on the Avengers and minimize the unknown harm of action.

see some people say that Tony is essentially playing with the law, signing the agreement first and then revising the terms and conditions afterwards, so that the Avengers can continue to punish evil and promote good at will by playing with bureaucracy. I don't think that's what the movie means. Because Tony really sincerely wanted to control the harm, he was in charge of this agreement as a person in charge of the Avengers trying to deal with the loss and insecurity they brought to the public. he did exhort the captain that the security of the Avengers could be strengthened by amending and adding some of the details of the agreement, but it was biased to think that he was playing with the law and taking the bureaucratic line. Besides, it was the word "do whatever you want" that Tony tried his best to avoid from beginning to end.

Roddy supports signing the agreement because he has been in the army for many years and agrees with and trusts the regulatory and operational mode of the United Nations. Natasha, as a spy accustomed to keenly assessing current events and making decisions in her best interests, believes that she can have autonomous control only when one hand is still on the steering wheel, and in order to reassure the public that she still has autonomy, she also chooses to support the agreement.

however, the problem with statistics is that although the calculated data are objective, the interpretation of the results is relatively subjective. Correlation does not show causality, whether the emergence of the disaster brings the hero, or the emergence of the hero brings the disaster, the calculation of the illusion can not prove it. Moreover, statistics itself tends to remove differences and get group commonness. the statistical results based on a large number of data will be more accurate if they are applied to groups with large sample sizes, but they may not be true if they are applied to individual individuals. It must be analyzed on a case-by-case basis. Regardless of whether the amount of data used for calculation by illusion is large enough, and whether the data selection will be biased because of the proportion of events experienced by the existing heroes in MCU so far, only in terms of the captain and the iron man, the conclusion of this statistical result on them is basically the opposite.

Tony is not only a protector, but also a creator. I must insert a piece of my opinion on "Tony is always forcibly carrying the pot". Many successful people have a feeling that the greater your success, the more failures and mistakes you must experience. Not long ago, I watched a video entitled "Ten Scientific experiments that could lead to the Extinction of Human beings", and I was quite saddened. Throughout the history of the progress of human civilization, all the progress contains numerous mistakes, and great scientific breakthroughs are often accompanied by great risks. Tony is basically the whole MCU or even the comic book universe. One of the most productive and outstanding inventors, with his achievements, he must have experienced millions of failures, and some of these failures must have serious consequences. What's wrong with technology being used by bad guys? what's wrong with creating Ultron? people never blame Einstein for discovering the mass-energy equation because the atomic bomb was invented. the greatest discovery must contain the trickiest danger. this is the basic rule of the universe. I never thought that letting Tony make a mistake was to accuse him of abusing him and force him to take the pot, because I never expected a scientist who only achieved but didn't make mistakes. The important thing is that he is responsible for his mistakes. Isn't it his charm that he corrects his mistakes and then moves on?

back to the point. In the movie, in Tony's words, I was a troublemaker from Pepper's point of view, but I never stopped, and I didn't want to stop. I don't think anyone knows better than Tony that if he stops making mistakes and causing trouble, he also stops creating and succeeding. In Tony's experience, some of the disasters he prevented had something to do with him, and he advocated rational suspicion of human nature, believing that individual judgments were difficult to be objective and impartial, so in order to avoid "doing bad things with good intentions", it is a good way for third-party regulation to evaluate the behavior of the Avengers from another point of view.

and throughout the captain's experience so far, he is not a creator, he is just a protector, so he does not cause disasters but stops them. Even if accidental casualties are caused in the process, it is an inevitable cost of fighting, which can be reduced by constantly improving personal abilities, but it is not a major decision-making mistake of the Avengers. In his view, the occurrence of disasters and the emergence of heroes are related, but the emergence of heroes is to end the disaster and save the world without making things worse, so third-party regulation is of little significance. And in 117 countries, each has its own interests, the decision-making process must be inefficient and time-consuming, and the Avengers are tied up and unable to do their best; judging from the experience of New York and Washington, high-level policy makers can even make things worse because of their own limitations. As long as the manager is human, there are variables and risks, and if you don't trust the Avengers for this reason, you shouldn't trust the United Nations either.

seeing someone say that the captain believes that human nature is inherently good, and that all people will eventually understand their good intentions and believe in human free will judgment, they advocate that heroes should do whatever they want to eliminate evil and promote good. This view is still biased. First of all, the captain does not think that people will understand them in the end, on the contrary, he knows that many people do not understand or even resent them, but as a superhero, if you want to save people, you must learn to accept this and insist on doing what you think is right in the face of doubt. Second, the captain's so-called freedom is not to "punish evil and promote good at will"; he believes in people, but not everyone, he believes in some individuals, such as members of the Avengers. He believes that they have the right judgment and self-discipline, which enables them to make the right choices without regulation, rather than making freewheeling choices.

as for Wanda's final choice of the captain, it was not because of the rebellion against the Ironman's captivity, but because of what she said to the vision: I can't control other people's fears, but I can control my fears. That's what the captain is after: you can't influence what other people think, but you can restrain your behavior through practical actions and prove to everyone that you are reliable. By contrast, the reaction to the illusion is: if you run away, the world will always be afraid of you. He believes that outside regulation is the best way to dispel public panic, which is very similar to the view of Ironman-it is not wrong, it is based on a pessimistic view of human nature and the world.

about Sam, I don't think he has the idea that "the captain is the eldest brother, I'll do whatever you say." In "team 2" and "team 3" have shown that Sam does not like to be over-regulated, he follows the captain because of the same point of view, "team 3" can also see that he has his own judgment on things, not obedient people.

but, as I said before, although the film is called Civil War, the real core is not disagreement, but revenge. I think it's more important than discussing which side of freedom or regulation is more important. No matter how hard you try, you can't be completely rational and objective, Panther can't do it, captain can't do it, Tony can't do it, even phantom is such a high-level artificial intelligence (is that right? Finally, he realized that he would be emotionally disturbed, because after all, he had a jewel of heart, and if he had a heart, he would have emotion. Of course, we need laws and norms to restrict ourselves to maintain society, but we can not only rely on external regulation, because the pursuit of rationality is very important, but blindly pursuing rationality and neglecting human nature does not meet the needs of human development.

one of the important differences between heroes and villains is that when equally uncontrollable natural and man-made disasters befall them, the villains resent fate, while heroes accept fate. For people like Zimo, feelings make him lose his judgment and self-restraint and make wrong decisions, but for Panther Dongbing and every Avenger, they can use their own personality strength to overcome emotional weaknesses to overcome the misfortune of life. Is UN supervision credible in the end? Is it advisable to make your own decisions? The reason why this question cannot be answered is that it is not the ultimate question, the ultimate question is whether people themselves are credible or not. In the end, all the plots of the film express a view that maybe not everyone is reliable, but sometimes, some people do have a great personality, of course they have feelings, of course they will be lost, but they will eventually make the right choice and be responsible for their actions. Such people are actually worthy of our trust.

if you choose to believe, then a lot of hatred is no longer hatred, and many problems are no longer problems. But it's a pity. What's more, in a world full of traps, most people can no longer simply pay trust, and this is the real tragedy, not only for heroes, but also for every ordinary people. Of course, for us fans who endlessly argue whether the captain is selfish or wrong.

Last nonsense:

these days I have been reflecting on why other people's film reviews can be written in such detail and sincerity, no matter the analysis of Tony or the captain is always with a kind of emotional storm that stirs people's hearts. and every film review of me is inexplicably calm, macro, and the name is still very bad.

yesterday I watched the latest episode of the good wife, and then I had an epiphany. The plot of the show has become more and more complicated since the fifth season, and the problems encountered by each protagonist almost make me suspect that the writer's mentality is dark and masochistic. I often feel that if such trouble is on my head, I am really going to die. But the characters just sighed, went home at night and drank half a bottle of red wine alone, and went out the next day to be another hero. Directors seldom show how pitiful they are from a compassionate standpoint. Everyone's response to the problem is to accept it, face it, solve it, and then continue to enjoy life and meet the next problem.

so I think that life is a game, I and other ordinary people may be at the level of 10-20, while the level of superheroes may be at the level of 30-40. Everyone will encounter boss, that matches their current level. When players at level 10, such as me, look up at players at level 40, they will feel that their boss is so powerful that they can't beat it. But for level 40 players, it's actually about as difficult as we fight against level 10 boss. Therefore, it is not necessary to reach the belly of level 40 with the heart of level 10 or the belly of level 10 with the heart of level 40. Everyone just lives in an environment that matches their own abilities. Although level 40 players encounter many difficulties, they may not get less satisfaction from facing the world and their happiness and realizing the value of life than level 10 players. Driven by this idea, although every hero does have a lot of misery and helplessness, I will not feel too sad, on the contrary, I will always be moved by the fact that they have been able to overcome such difficulties and become greater people.
